Looking for inspiration? You’ve come to the right place! I happen to love finding new website designs that catch my eye, but I don’t stop there… I like to find sites that are beautiful, functional, and high converting because honestly, having a beautiful site is not nearly as important as having one that helps you reach your business goals.
Let’s start with Typecast. A lovely site with easy to read text and nice big orange call-to-action buttons. Notice how the option to “find out more” is much less prominant than the “try now” option. You can really see where they are trying to drive the viewers attention.
I also like how they clearly state they have 23,000 web fonts. Wow! What a credibility booster.
And don’t forget all those big fancy names that show typecast is not going unnoticed in the web design industry.
This cheery design shows the playful nature of the videos that Explanimate creates. They use video to describe their own service and a hand-drawn line guides you through the page so it’s easy to follow and your eye doesn’t get lost along the way.
My only complaint is that I don’t see any button or CTA that catches my eye to encourage me to call or fill out a form for more information.
3) Edmonton Hair Salon
They even offer the convenience of booking online which you won’t miss out on because of the awesome teal color they’ve chosen as an accent color.
My favorite part about this site, other than the simple box-like design, is the quality of testimonials available right on the homepage. They choose to flaunt customer success stories even before going through all of the products features… and after looking at a few of the names on their list, it’s no wonder why.
Even without fancy names to flaunt, adding testimonials to your site (from anyone) speaks to your abilities. So make sure you are asking all of your customers for feedback or even just a few kind words.
A very cool idea with an equally cool website. This site’s simple layout makes it easy to navigate and helps you understand the product right away. They describe the entire product in a headline! No need for tons of text… if you can say it all in two sentences, go for it.
I just bought the fitbit One and no lie, their website is part of what seduced me into becoming a customer. Can you tell why? I love the bright colors, easy-to-understand product details, and links to press mentions which helped me during my research process.
Overall a fun site with purpose that really helps sell me on the product experience rather than just the features.
